Matlacha Morning

This morning around 7 am we snapped a photo of this carved fisherman with a quiet sailboat anchored out in Matlacha Pass. The fisherman is located at the waterfront Bridgwater Inn. Five days a week we drive through Matlacha on our way back to Pine Island, this time of year it can be a bit busy with traffic. If the Matlacha Pass Bridge bridge is up you’re stuck waiting for about 10 minutes – but that’s only happened to us a couple of times.
