Island Time Begins Here

Just before going over the bridge in Matlacha is a historic sign (on your left as you drive towards Pine Island) that says “Island Time Begins Here”. We see this sign everyday and it gives us that calm & relaxed feeling. Going from the hustle and bustle of Cape Coral over to the quiet countryside of Pine Island is a special experience only a few who live in St. James City or Bokeelia know. Sure, it’s a bit of extra effort to make the drive, but we think it’s worth it!
