Galt Island Preserve

This beautiful photo was taken as we emerged from the forest of pine trees at Galt Island Preserve. We had almost the entire place to ourselves with only a few other people out enjoying the wildlife, trails, boardwalks, docks and scenery. Galt Preserve is unexpectedly nice – it has paved roads, parking, manicured trails, bathrooms, recycling bins and maps of the paths. Galt Preserve is highly recommended!
